After finally receiving these flies I went to a local stream to try one out. I caught and released several small rookies and had fun with them. They are well made and the colors are good for other fish as well. They are a good product and worth the money. This coming from a guy who never bought a fly but preferred to tie his own.

Christmas year round!
This fly just keeps on giving as if it were Saint Nick himself. Use an intermediate line and swing it across riffles or put it on the end of a sink line and drop it in some deep pools. Unless you have been very very naughty, your net will be as busy as the elves the week before Christmas!

I haven’t had a chance to use them yet but they look well tied and I like the color pattern.
I use Woolley Buggers when nothing else works. They are my go to fly. I’m sure they will be a hit here in New Mexico.
