Perdigon

I ordered some of these flies from Smitty's Fly Box. I tried one on a mountain lake in Idaho and caught a small fish on it. I have to admit the fish were not biting well that day so only caught three total, one on a lure and one on another fly. Slow day. The flies from Smitty's seem to be well tied and I look forward to using them when I go out again.

First off- jig hook for your fishing pleasure. Reduce snags and a tightlining go-to. Barbless just in case you forget to pinch barbs like me. Great weight to get the fly into the fish zone. The colors available are highly effective. Overall, so many reasons this is a great fly to have in your box.
